2004, September 15-16 Jeanne Tropical Storm Tropical Storm Jeanne passed just south of St Croix and then entered southeast Puerto Rico near Maunabo and traveled west then north and west again across Puerto Rico and exited over the northwest tip of the island near Aguadilla.
2001, August 22-23 Dean Tropical Storm Tropical Storm Dean formed from a tropical wave over the Virgin Islands on August 22nd. Winds to tropical storm force were reported in the U.S. Virgin Islands and there was an estimated $2 million in damage due to flooding in Puerto Rico.
1998, September 21 - 22 Georges Hurricane Passed over St. Croix, entered Puerto Rico near Humacao, moved across the interior and exited in Cabo Rojo.
1997, September 5 - 8 Erika Hurricane Passed about 2 degrees latitude northeast of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands in a SE-NW direction.
1996, September 9 - 10 Hortense Hurricane Passed over the southwest corner of Puerto Rico in a SE-NW direction.
1996, July 8 - 9 Bertha Hurricane Passed just northeast of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands in a SE-NW direction.
1995, October 23 - 24 Sebastien Tropical Storm Passed within 1 degree latitude southeast of the Virgin Islands, weakened to a tropical depression, dissipated just southeast of Puerto Rico as it moved in a NE-SW direction.
1995, September 15 - 16 Marilyn Hurricane Passed over St. Thomas ni a SE-NW direction.
1995, September 5 - 6 Luis Hurricane Passed just north of the Virgin Islands in a SE-NW direction.
1993, August 16 Cindy Tropical Storm Passed almost 2 degrees southwest of Puerto Rico in a SE-NW direction.
1990, October 7 Klaus Tropical Storm Passed just NW of northern Virgin Islands in a ESE-WNW direction.
1989, September 17 - 18 Hugo Hurricane Passed over the northeast corner of Puerto Rico in a SE-NW direction.
1989, August 3 - 4 Dean Hurricane Passed almost 2 degrees northeast of Puerto Rico in a SE-NW direction.
1988, September 10 Gilbert Hurricane Tropical Storm Gilbert turned into Hurricane as it passed about 2 degrees latitude south of Puerto Rico in a SE-NW direction.

1984, November 6 - 7 Klaus Tropical Storm Passed just between Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands in a SW-NE direction.
1981, September 8 Gert Tropical Storm Passed near St. Croix and over the northeast corner of Puerto Rico in a SE-NW direction.

1979, September 3 - 4 Frederic Tropical Storm Passed over St. Croix, moved along the southern coast of Puerto Rico in a E-W direction.
1979, August 30 David Hurricane Passed about 1 degree latitude south of Puerto Rico in an ESE-W direction.
1979, July 17 - 18 Claudette Tropical Storm Passed over nrm Virgin Islands and weakened to a Tropical Depression just as it hit M the northeast coast of Puerto Rico, then traveled right along the northern coastline of Puerto Rico in an E-W direction.
1975, September 15 Eloise Tropical Storm Tropical Depression developed into Tropical Storm Eloise as it reached about 1 degree north of the northeastern tip of Puerto Rico as it passed E-W.
1974, August 29 - 30 Carmen Tropical Storm Tropical Depression developed into Tropical Storm carmen as it passed about 1 degree south of Puerto Rico in an E-W direction.
1973, September 3 - 4 Christine Tropical Storm Weakened into a Tropical Depression before passing over the nrn Virgin Islands and just northeast of the northeastern tip of Puerto Rico.
1967, September 9 - 10 Beulah Hurricane Passed within 1 degree southwest of swrn corner of Puerto Rico in a SE-NW direction.
1966, September 28 Inez Hurricane Passed about 1 degree latitude south of Puerto Rico and St. Croix in an E-W direction.
1966, August 26 Faith Hurricane Passed about 1 degree latitude NE of the Virgin Islands in a ESE-WNW direction.
1965, August 28 - 29 Betsy Hurricane Tropical Depression turned into Tropical Storm Betsy within 2 degrees latitude ENE of the Virgin Islands in a S-N direction. Shortly afterwards it became Hurricane Betsty.
1964, August 22 - 23 Cleo Hurricane Passed within 2 degrees latitude south of Puerto Rico in an E-W direction.
1963, September 26 - 27 Edith Hurricane Headed due north towards the southwestern tip of Puerto Rico, then turned due west before making land.
1961, October 2 - 3 Frances Hurricane Passed within 1 degree latitude from the southwestern corner of Puerto Rico in a SE-NW direction.
1960, September 4 - 6 Donna Hurricane Passed within 1 degree latitude from St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands.

1955, September 11 - 12 Hilda Hurricane Tropical storm passed within 1 degree latitude north of St. Thomas in an ESE-WNW direction reaching hurricane intensity on the 12th.
1955, January 3 Alice Hurricane Passed within 1 degree latitude southeast of St. Croix in an ENE-WSW direction.
1954, August 30 - 31 Dolly Tropical Storm Formed off the northwestern corner of Puerto Rico and moved off in a NNW direction.
1953, September 14 Edna Tropical Storm Passed within 1 degree latitude northeast of the Virgin Islands in a SE-NW direction.
1950, August 23 --- Tropical Storm Passed over the southwestern corner of Puerto Rico in an ESE-WNW direction.
1949, September 2 - 3 --- Hurricane Tropical storm developed between Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, moved northwest reaching hurricane intensity and changing course to nwrd after passing 20 degrees north latitude on the 3rd day.

1942, November 4 --- Tropical Storm Apparently developed just off southern Puerto Rico, crossed northern part of the island in an ESE-WNW direction.
1940, August 5 --- Tropical Storm Passed north of St. Thomas in an ESE-WNW direction.
1939, August 7 --- Tropical Storm Apparently developed about 1 degree latitude northeast of St. Thomas, moved nwwrd.
